Charging, model by model

Every current Geek Bar at GeekBars.store recharges over USB-C. The battery is there to outlast the liquid: a device is finished when its tank runs dry, and recharging keeps the battery from stranding liquid that is still in the tank.

The screen devices make the state visible. The Pulse X and Pulse X 2 show the battery on the curved display, the Pulse 2 on its dome screen, the Skyview on its TFT panel, and the Pulse 9000 on its LED screen. The Pulse 2, Pulse X 2 and Skyview are the fast-charge models, at about 80% in roughly 20 minutes. The Meloso has no screen. The BRK device charges the same way, shows its battery on a curved colour screen, and is the one part of the system you keep.

Which cable to use

Any standard USB Type-C cable works, the same type most phones use, so no special charger is needed. The STLTH x Geek Bar 80K and the BRK device come with a cable in the box. Others may not, so keep one to hand.

Plug in when the battery indicator runs low. Refills do not change any of this: BRK pods and Salt bottles have no battery of their own.
